Your Life...

How did you become a Christian? I grew up learning Bible verses before I could read, After attending a GA meeting at the church, I talked with my pastor, Rev. Gaines Mason, and told him I was sorry for my sins and had accepted Christ as my Savior. He told me I was ready to make a public profession of faith and I joined Ridgeland Baptist Church on Easter Sunday 1944 at the age of eight.

Life verse: Psalm 23

Someone who had a huge impact on your life: My grandmother-I slept in the room with her until I was 12 yrs. old. She is the one who taught me the Bible verses and how to pray. My grandmother taught many things but the most important to me was love of God, family and friends, and to always look for the good in everyone.

Your No. 1 dream for the future: To live my life pleasing to Christ-doing what I feel He is leading me to do.
